Process of Reading

The reading process has been very hard to keep reading this book because I feel like this book is just all over the place in say too much in one chapter. An active reading strategy I have employed was just to keep reading the book even if I didn’t like reading it or it did catch my interest. I annotated a lot about things that I did not know or I had questions about and I highlighted some of the quotes and statements that really stood out to me. It was a lot of words that I did not know in this book or words that I did know this book gave me a better understanding of the word and its meaning.  It helped me to better understand some of the thing that the author was trying to say and the thing that I highlighted was just something that I could relate to in a personal way. Some advice that I would give is if you like books like this; this would be a very good book for you to read and relate to. But, on the other hand if you’re like me and don’t really like this book you just have to suck it up and read and understand the book and the concept of it. I just made sure that I kept up with the assignment even thought I didn’t enjoy reading this book. I read on my way home, to school, and at home after I finished all my other work. After reading this book I realized that I was not very exhilarated at all or at any point in this book.
